BREAKING: EU Gives Nigeria €50 Million to Combat COVID-19

The European Union has given Nigeria €50 million to combat coronavirus, President Muhammadu Buhari’s spokesman Femi Adesina said on Tuesday.

The grant was announced by the Head of European Union (EU) delegation in Nigeria, Ambassador Ketil Karlsen, at a meeting with President Buhari in Abuja.

As at 09:50 pm 13th April, there are 343 confirmed cases of the virus in the country.

Buhari on Monday announced an extended of the lockdown in Abuja, Lagos and Ogun states in a national broadcast.
