BREAKING: Lagos Records Three New Deaths of Coronavirus

Three new deaths of coronavirus have been recorded in Lagos State bringing the total number of deaths recorded in Lagos state to 13.

This was revealed via the state commissioner's Twitter handle Prof. Abayomi on saturday 18th April 2020.

Before the commissioner made the announcement, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control in Lagos State announced that one Coronavirus patient had died on Fnday

The NCDC made the revealed this without giving details of the victim.

However, at the early hours of Saturday the Federal Government announced the death of the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, 25 days after he tested positive and admitted for the novel COVID-19 pandemic.

The chief of staff was buried at Gudu Cemetery in Abuja, he died at a private hospital in Lagos where he was receiving treatment for COVID-19.

The commissioner said  three patients had died of the COVID-19 related disease, and they are two males and one female.
