Nigeria Records 86 New Cases of COVID-19 in a Day, 70 in Lagos

Following the recent tweet from the NCDC, ”86 new coronavirus cases have been reported: 70 in Lagos, seven in FCT, 3 in Katsina, 3 in Akwa Ibom, and Jigawa, Bauchi and Borno recorded one case each.

This brings the total of number of COVID-19 recorded cases in Nigeria to 627, with 170 discharged and 21 deaths.
70 new cases of COVID-19 has been recorded in lagos making it the highest number of cases recorded within 24 hours so far in Nigeria. 

This is in accordance to the recent released data by the Nigeria Centre for Deases Control on its website. 

A total of 376 coronavirus cases has so far been recorded in Lagos state with the 70 new cases inclusive along side with 97 recoveries and 13 deaths.

Lagos State remains the epicenter with the highest number of positive cases and has released the highest numbers and recorded highest number of deaths.
