Nigeria Confirms Eight New Novel Coronavirus Infections Cases, Total Cases Rise To 232

A total of eight new cases of coronavirus pandemic have been recorded in the country, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control {NCDC} confirmed this.
On Sunday evening, the health agency tweeted saying the new infections has raised to the total number 232 of the confirmed cases in Nigeria .
The tweet came hours after the NCDC confirmed 10 cases Lagos-6, Edo 2- FCT 2.

120 cases have been reported in lagos state in total, the FCT has reported 47, while Osun has also recorded 20 cases of coronavirus.
He revealed that the recovered patients were a 10-year-old girl, as well as two males and females respectively.

The governor stated that despite the indications that the state seemed to be winning the battle against coronavirus pandemic, it is important that the government and residents remain steadfast to curtail the spread of the coronavirus.

He also pleaded with the people of Lagos state to continue to observe social distancing, as well as stay-at-home as part of efforts to tackle the virus.
