UPDATE: Nigerian Lady Advertised For Sale on Facebook by Lebanese Rescued

The Nigerian woman was offered for sale by a Lebanese, Wael Jerro, via Facebook has been rescued.
The Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, on Tuesday revealed that the victim, Busari Peace, was with the Nigerian Mission in Beirut, Lebanon.
The Lebanese had advertised the woman with her Nigerian passport through a Facebook page, ‘Buy and Sell in Lebanon’ with a price tag of $1,000 on the victim, a 30 year old indigene of Oyo State.
The post went viral on the social media, as many Nigerians requested for the arrest of the Lebanese and rescue of Busari.
The Chairman later announced that the Lebanese has been arrested by the Lebanese government, whom she said also condemned the act.
She guaranteed that Busari would be rescued via Twitter on Tuesday.
“Update on Nigerian girl put up for sale by a Lebanese, Wael Jerro, on Facebook. She has been rescued and safely with officials of the Nigerian Mission in Beirut,” she wrote.
