UPDATED: Nigeria Records 38 New Cases of COVID-19, Total Now 665

38 new cases of COVID-19 has been recorded in Nigeria which brings the total number of infections in the country to 665.

The new cases were recorded in seven states which are Kaduna, Borno, Abia, Sokoto and the FCT.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reported this through its Twitter handle on Monday evening.

The NCDC did not announce any new case in Lagos,they however announced that a new patient had died of coronavirus disease, bringing the total number of coronavirus deaths in Nigeria to 22.

A total number of 665 cases have been recorded in the country so far and  188 patients has recovered and been discharged while 22 death have been recorded as at 11pm of 20th April 2020.
