BREAKING: Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje appoints New Emir of Rano

Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, at the early hours of Tuesday has appointed a new Emir for the Rano Emirate Council.

On Tuesday evening the news was announced via the Kano State government  Twitter said the governor of Kano state appointed Kabiru Muhammad lnuwa as the new Emir of Rano.

Kabiru Muhammed was state District head of Kibiya until his new appointment as the Emir by the state governor.

He succeeds the late Emir Taflda Abubakar Ila, who was said to had died at the age of 74 on Saturday in Kano State.

It was gathered that the late emir was in a critical condition and was immediately rushed to the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital in his critical condition and was later referred and transferred to the Nasarawa Specialist Hospital where he died.

The Emirate Council is one of the four new emirates created by governor Abdullahi Ganduje on May 9, 2019.
